“Our study was designed to compare how infants and adults process basic emotions such as happiness and sadness. We used a novel approach to understand the organization of the brain in both infants and adults. We showed for the first time that the basic patterns of organization for processing emotions are already present in 8-10 month infants. We believe that with experience and during development these basic patterns become more refined.” – Naama Rotem Kohavi
